8. pressure chamber






















Pressure chamber of the Govora deserted sanatorium. Formerly used for lung disease treatement, it was out of order at the time of the intervention. Inside the chamber it was completely dark. Black paint on metal wall, Romanian wording ('nimeni nu poate citi pe intuneric' = 'no one can read in the dark').

A deserted sanatorium near Ramnicu Valcea. Two found posters of renowned Romanian doctors from the 70s, glue, white and black paint. Bathroom with massage bed. Romanian wording ('doctor' = 'doctor' / 'bolnav' = 'patient'). More photos here.

Two billboards on the Bucharest - Pitesti highway, placed at a distance of 500 meters one from the other. White paint, Romanian wording ('ma duc la' = 'I'm going to ...' on the first one / 'si eu' = 'me too' on the second).

A saltmine area near Ramnicu Valcea. Landslides are frequent here due to water infiltration in the side of the hill, made of salt layers. Five by one and a half meters word written in Romanian ('apa' = 'water'), using a stick, on the bottom of a dry reservoir lake. More photos here.
